Panasonic announced today that it is forming Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU), a new venture which it claims will allow its partners greater support for project rollouts and reselling a wider and more integrated product portfolio.
The new company will integrate 12 different B2B product categories, project management and services into one organization, with around 500 staff offering customers a single point of contact. It will offer a portfolio of technology for capturing, computing and communicating all forms of data: voice, image and text.
PSCEU is made up of four divisions: communication solutions, visual system solutions, professional camera solutions and computer product solutions.
Panasonic says that customers will benefit from:
• a single point of responsibility
• faster, less risky project rollout
• European or global pricing agreements
• complete solutions that can be designed, incorporating third party products, using Panasonic's deep engineering expertise.
Masaki Arizono, MD, PSCEU, said: "Panasonic products have always helped make our customers'working lives better. With our new organization, we also make our customers' lives simpler and can add more value through services and solutions. No other company in Europe has such a capability in our market."
