Pentel has raised over £46,500 for the Prostate Cancer Charity through the sales of two of its pen ranges, the LineStyle and the EnerGel Xm.
The LineStyle, a blue barrelled ballpoint pen, carries a donation of £0.20 per pen for every pen sold, and a cool blue version of the company's EnerGel Xm retractable liquid gel roller.
The EnerGel Xm features an ice-white barrel and contrasting aqua blue trim, for which a donation of £0.25 per pen is made to the charity for every pen sold.
One of the significant aspects to the fundraising process was ‘Movember', where men at Pentel grew a moustache to be sponsored by their friends and family for the charity raise money.
Pentel marketing manager Wendy Vickery stated: "We are thrilled to have raised so much money for The Prostate Cancer Charity in 2011 and thank everyone who's bought a pen for helping us to make a difference to the lives of sufferers and their families.
"Prostate cancer is the number one cancer to affect men and we‘re pleased to show our support for the excellent work of The Prostate Cancer Charity through sales of our special products."
Corporate partnerships manager for The Prostate Cancer Charity, Alison Walker said: "We are delighted that Pentel has raised this sum for The Prostate Cancer Charity and look forward to a successful relationship with them again in 2012."
The Prostate Charity was founded in 1996 and aims to increase awareness of the disease by helping those affected and their families by providing treatment, advice and support.
Pentel have stated that they will continue to raise money in 2012 for the charity.
