Printing consumables manufacturer DCI/Jet Tec announces Blue Angel accreditation for cartridge
Compatible printing consumables manufacturer, DCI/Jet Tec has announced that its remanufactured HP Q6511A toner cartridge has passed the Blue Angel testing.
Blue Angel is a German certification that has been running since 1978, it offers manufacturers the opportunity to show that their products have an environmental advantage and the label now covers approximately 10,000 products in 80 categories.
Commercial manager, Phil Sneath, commented on the news: "The Blue Angel certification was of particular importance to Jet Tec as we pride ourselves on our environmentally friendly processes," he said.
"We currently manufacture to the environmental standard ISO 14001. Certification is a further endorsement of DCI's commitment to manufacturing environmentally friendly products."
DCI/Jet Tec collects laser toner cartridges through its effective recycling schemes in association with its sister company The Recycling Factory for its compatibles production.
