Released 08/12/2011
The Samsung SUR40 touch screen, available exclusively in the UK through Midwich, will be available for demonstration at BETT 2012.
The Samsung SUR40 is a 40-inch touch screen that allows students to share, collaborate and explore together. It can process more than fifty simultaneous touches and recognises fingers, hands and other objects placed on the screen.
Featuring PixelSense technology, the display can "see" what's touching the screen and then process and interpret the information. At four inches thick, it can be vertically mounted, or used horizontally like a table top and is suitable for delivering lessons, gaming, and sharing a variety of media.
Resellers can pre-order the Samsung SUR40 by contacting Fiona Bensley at Midwich fiona.bensley@midwich.com.
BETT or The BETT show (formerly known as the British Educational Training and Technology Show) is an annual trade show in the United Kingdom that showcases the use of information technology in education. The show will take place at London Olympia, 12-14 January 2012.
