With a fortnight to go until Durable Computer Cleaning Week on 20-26 September, the office supplies firm is encouraging end-users to get cleaning.
Hair-raising facts on the Durable website to promote cleanliness include evidence that according to the Royal Chemistry Society mice are leaving droppings on office keyboards as they search for food crumbs at night.
VP of marketing Stewart Anderson has noticed a "huge" interest in workplace hygiene from users of social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. "Users want more information about workplace health hazards and guidance to the best practices to clean their office technology," he said, "there is a massive opportunity for the trade to promote this important ‘need to clean' message to their customer base."
