Office supplies firm prepares for Computer Cleaning Week

DURABLE has launched its fifth annual computer cleaning week campaign, in preparation for the event taking place 20-26 September.

The campaign theme, ‘Is your keyboard a bacteria cafeteria? It could make you sick’ has been launched on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

Traditional marketing support tools, including promotions, sample cards and web banners, are available at www.computercleaningweek.com.

Stewart Anderson, VP of marketing at Durable said: “Social networking sites have really captured people’s attention and there has been an explosion of users over the past few years. To be able to directly communicate and educate consumers on the workplace health hazards they face everyday is very worthwhile for the Computer Cleaning Week.”

 The firm is using the social networking sites to track trends, as well as run end-user competitions.
