Pilot pens the winner for top sales award

Top salesperson for south west and Wales nabs the prize
The winner of this year's Sword of Excellence Award at The Pilot Pen Company's recent sales conference was Dave Hall, for his work in the south west, Wales and adjoining counties.
The award has been presented annually for 21 years to the company's top performing salesperson and is based on a detailed evaluation of an individual's performance across a variety of sales functions.
Don Skelton, Pilot's MD who presented the award, commented: "It's the highest level of recognition a salesperson can achieve at Pilot and to win the award requires a lot of hard work and dedication. The award is especially deserved as Dave has a vast area to cover. Despite the economic situation in 2009, Pilot UK grew its market share and Dave was a major contributor to that.
"His experience paid dividends, as did his extensive knowledge of retail and commercial business sectors. [This year] has started well for Pilot and in the first two months Dave is showing double digit growth year on year."
Second place went to John Rodgers, manager for London and South East territories.
