Sponsorship of UKA continues in 2010
Konica Minolta at the finish line
Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) is continuing its sponsorship as Official Supplier of UKA (formerly UK Athletics) Major Events for printers, copiers and faxes for a second athletics season. The agreement with UK Athletics runs until September 2013 and takes in participation in the London Olympics to be held in 2012.
As an official supplier, Konica Minolta will support UKA at events during the 2010 season, with coverage on BBC network television. The Konica Minolta logo will be visible at the finish line of all events, as well as trackside.
At the events, Konica Minolta will supply UKA with the latest bizhub multifunctionals for copying, printing, scanning and faxing, both at event venues and also at the hotels used by UKA.
Commenting on the sponsorship agreement, Kathryn Hobbs, marketing communications assistant for Konica Minolta said: "We are delighted to be supporting UKA as official supplier for printers, copiers and faxes for the 2010 athletics season.
"This is a great partnership agreement for Konica Minolta giving us maximum brand exposure in the period leading up to the London Olympics, which will certainly be the most significant sporting event for Britain in the new decade.
