New compatibles promise high margins

The 100% new-build compatible toners and inks manufacturer Media Sciences has announced a product launch that promises to offer office products dealers the chance to sell high margin compatibles for over 84% of Dell, Oki and Xerox colour laser printers and MFPs shipped in the last four years.

Media Sciences' Richard Betts, office product channel sales director - Europe said: "There are thousands of printers sited in offices in the UK, in particular the Oki 3300 and the Xerox 7400. Dealers have been asking for compatibles for these printers and I am delighted that these new compatibles are included in this major product launch. The expansion of our range demonstrates Media Sciences' commitment to new product development and we are bringing new compatibles to market in line with the increasing demand for our products. Beta is already taking orders and will have all the new products in stock by 30 June."

Media Sciences CEO, Michael W. Levin visited the UK from the head office in New Jersey earlier this year to meet with UK dealers. On the new product launch he said: "These new high quality, reliable and IP compliant Clearcase toners are the result of our exhaustive development process and deliver comparable print quality and yield at savings of up to 30% versus the printer manufacturers' brand. In today's challenging economy, businesses are being proactive at looking for ways to cut costs in all areas without having to sacrifice quality and performance. As a result, we expect strong demand for these new products."
